Scope Of Work
Middle Creek’s baseball program is widely hailed as one of the top Class 4A programs in the state of North Carolina, sending nearly 30 players on to college baseball diamonds over the past nine years. The Mustangs compete in the Southwest Wake Athletic Conference (formerly known as the Tri-9 Conference), which has sent a representative to the Class 4A State Championship series in three of the past five seasons — winning two. The Mustangs have posted 11 consecutive winning seasons and have qualified for the North Carolina High School Athletic Association state playoffs in each of the past 8 seasons, including winning the Class 4A state championship in 2012 — earning the school’s first state title in any sport. More than 75 players have earned Academic All-Conference honors over the past 7 years.
Located in Apex, North Carolina, Middle Creek High School opened in the fall of 2002 and has continued to improve their athletic facilities each year. Recently, the Middle Creek baseball field was having drainage issues that was hampering play. WithersRavenel utilized the latest in 3D Scanning technology to develop a detailed topographic map of the field. The topographic map clearly displayed the areas that needed grading adjustment. By utilizing the latest technology, WithersRavenel was able to complete the scan in record time and help Middle Creek Baseball get back to playing baseball on a first class field.
Athletic programs are an integral part of education that promote learning and strive for students to excel in the development of life skills, a healthy lifestyle, sportsmanship, and citizenship.
