Klein Construction is a full-service general contracting organization founded in 1969 by Joseph and Wayne Klein Sr. For the first 35 years, our focus was on the public, municipal market. Since taking over as President 20 years ago, Wayne Klein II has changed the focus to relationship building and creating trusting relationships.

We are headquartered conveniently in Lemont, IL and specialize in the retail, multi-family, residential, healthcare and hospitality industries throughout the Chicago-land area. Our long standing project management personnel average over 30 years of experience in the construction industry.

Our mission is to build relationships through service and value. Every member of our team – from subcontractor to President – is personally invested in the success of our projects. Our customer service will always be first rate, and we provide the best value for our clients.  We pride ourselves on transitioning with the needs of the marketplace and remain very competitive by keeping overhead to a minimum and employing only the most dedicated people.

We have established a niche in the Chicago marketplace by continuing to operate non-signatory to any unions. As a result, the cost of building dramatically reduced and we can pass the savings on to the owner. This flexibility and creativity allows us to add significant value to our clients’ projects.
