Scope Of Work
Spire worked with the architect, Kimmel-Bogrette Architecture, to design a theatre which uses the latest LED technology to create an efficient and stylish space. The theatre will be used for musical performances, lectures and guest speakers. It is Delaware Valley College’sfirst true performance space on campus.
Spire designed the lighting and rigging system as well as specification of all curtains. The system uses LED recessed lighting fixtures and pendants over the seating. The system was designed to be flexible to accommodate the wide variety of events that will be held in the theatre. Spire also installed a large portion of the technical theatre systems.
To allow for simplicity and better control of RGB LED fixtures, an ETC Element console was specified for this space, as well as preset push-button controls at the entryways and control booth. The stage was lit with Apollo Design’s Multiform HP3-90s as well as ETC’s Fresnelsand Source Fours. The space was also designed with Robe DLS Profile moving lights as refocusable specials.
