Scope Of Work
Spire worked with Mongul Church, to design a contemporary worship space which uses the latest LED technology to create an efficient and stylish space. The worship venue has been transformed to allow for creating a creative worship atmosphere which is flexible. Lead Pastor, Rocky Spear, and Worship Pastor, Monty Seaman, wanted to create a space that had the building blocks in place from a lighting and scenic standpoint.
Spire designed and installed the lighting and rigging system. The lighting system uses low-voltage cable lighting fixtures as house lighting to create a warmer and more intimate space. The stage lighting system uses LED pars as backlight allowing the stage to be washed with color. The set includes a combination of industrial materials such as expanded steel, corrugated aluminum, sheet metal, curved PVC pipes and frosted acrylic light boxes and stackable light towers. The materials are hanging from ADC curtain track which will allow the Church to create and hang their own themed settings. The hanging light boxes and towers use RGB LED strips to allow for color mixing and are made of MDF and frosted acrylic. The set is both industrial, versatile and budget conscious.
To allow for simplicity and better control of LED fixtures, a Pathway Cognito Pro512 was specified for this space. The stage was lit with Apollo Design’s Multiform HP3-90s as well as six ETC’s Source Fours.
