Scope Of Work
In 2018-2019, Metis had the privilege of partnering with the Akron Rotary Camp to renovate their dining area as well as additional separate space for sensory dining. An open concept eating area was created with an outdoorsy feel. Acoustic ceiling tiles were cut to look like clouds and were suspended from the ceiling. Colors, lighting, seating and décor were carefully selected for the new dining environment so all kids could be comfortable. The kitchen was renovated with new flooring, shelving and cooler space. The front addition features much needed storage space. Lower level restrooms were also updated. The exterior of the building had new stonework added. The project took approximately four months and was one of our absolute favorites!
