Scope Of Work
The Newman Center serves Kent State University and is an important part of Kent, Ohio. Renovations to the original sanctuary included new mechanical, accessible restroom and confessional. Additions of a new entrance to both vestibule and lobby and new classrooms were added. The new entrance of the church was created by reworking the original stainedglass feature window and entrance doors in a manner to preserve the artwork’s integrity and worshipers experience. Metis scheduled the work in a manner to let the church stay open throughout the project.
