Scope Of Work
BHC performed restoration to the 1932 building exterior facade, which entailed lime stone repair and brick replacement and repointing. A second floor addition was constructed over the existing 1962 building. The skilled workers had to install micro piles and steel through the existing first floor classrooms while maintaining functional class rooms during construction.
Additionally a new a gymnasium complex including locker rooms, pre-cast concrete seating and a new lobby entrace was completed. Then the existing gymnasium, dating back to 1932 was converted to an auditorium. The auditorium includes lecture hall seating, state of the art lighting and sound system and a professional quality movie theater system - all in keeping with the design of a 1932 theater.
