Scope Of Work
Yates Construction served as Construction Manager for phase I and II of the site-work package for the Nissan Assembly Plant. Phase I included clearing, grading, and major storm water and lime stabilization. Clearing and grading consisted of 150 acres, with 1,040 linear feet of storm water conveyance and drainage placed. Approximately 2.5 million cubic yards of soil was moved and 94,000 tons of lime was spread. Phase II included the balance of sitework, grading, drainage, water/sewer, and paving. Over 330,000 tons of asphalt were used during the paving phase.
