Revitalizing a Historic Landmark in Northport NY: Our Recent Exterior Paint Renovation
We are proud to share the successful completion of our latest project—a comprehensive exterior paint renovation on a cherished historic building located in Northport NY. Our dedicated team undertook a meticulous and transformative process to restore and enhance this iconic structure which was once the original Northport Theater.
Detailed Project Overview:
Power Washing: We began by thoroughly power washing the exterior, removing 30 years of accumulated paint and caulking from the walls and windows. This crucial step ensured a clean and smooth surface for the subsequent work.
Removal of Old Elements: Outdated signage, storm windows, and awnings were carefully removed, preparing the building for its new look while respecting its historic character.
Brick Repair: Our skilled craftsmen repaired the brickwork, filling any holes and addressing structural issues to ensure the integrity and beauty of the building.
Primer and Paint Application: To protect and beautify the structure, we applied two coats of high-quality primer followed by durable exterior paint to all walls, windows, and doors. This not only revitalized the building’s appearance but also provided long-lasting protection against the elements.
Custom Mural Design: Adding a touch of artistry, we designed and created a 4'x4' decorative mural on the front-facing wall. This unique feature honors the building's history while giving it a distinctive and contemporary flair.
Lighting Upgrades: In collaboration with an electrician, we installed new LED light fixtures and replaced outdated fluorescent lighting, improving both the exterior aesthetics and energy efficiency.
