Scope Of Work
The Dollar Tree building was constructed to meet the corporate image of the Dollar Tree Company. The building, using the original footprint outline was modified during the final design phase to include a recessed entryway with the company's arched sign panel above and their green horizontal banding incorporated into the exterior finish system.
The building has a slab on grade construction with wood stud exterior walls, wood truss roof framing and a center row of steel columns and beams to maximize interior floor space. The exterior has a colored masonry base with an exterior insulated finish system (EIFS) for siding above. The EIFS based cornice details add to the building's visual impact. A flat membrane roof is installed over rigid insulation draining to gutters with downspouts at the rear of the building.
