“Dreams do come true if we have the courage to pursue them,” Lake Tech Executive Director Diane Culpepper said during a ceremony at Lake Tech’s campus. “Our dream is about to become reality, and that’s darn exciting.” This 24,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility offers training for Welding Technology, Advanced Welding, and CNC Production Specialist. It houses 40 welding stations, fabrication area, grinding center, computer lab for blueprint reading/programming, a machine shop with a CNC mill and lathe, knee mill, and other equipment utilized in the machining industry, plus classrooms and gathering spaces for events.
