Tunista Construction, LLC is a full service general contractor specializing in Federal contracting programs throughout the United States.  We are uniquely qualified to provide construction services for both Military and non-military clients – serving the US Government in a variety of capacities to successfully deliver cost-effective solutions for complex mission critical objectives.  Tunista Construction operates a Vertical General Contracting Group and a Heavy Civil Group for Infrastructure Construction.  Both teams are fully integrated with the support of our holding company resources and operational systems. 

Tunista Construction is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Calista Corporation; one of the original 13 regional corporations created under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANSCA) of 1971. Certified as a Disadvantaged Business Entity (DBE) with the State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (ADOTP&F) and the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) – Tunista Construction can leverage its competitive advantage in Federal (set-aside) and State (diversity goals) procurement and contract opportunities.  Tunista Construction operates as a General Contractor and has the operational capacity to perform multiple complex concurrent projects. Tunista Construction also operates as a Prime-Subcontractor to large companies attempting to meet DBE compliance goals for large capital projects.

Tunista Construction maintains an aggregate surety capacity of $150M per occurrence and up to $50M single.
