   Swinson Contractors has built over 230 custom homes in the Charlotte, Concord and Kannapolis, as well as the greater Cabarrus, Mecklenburg and Rowan county areas over the past 25 years. John is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a BS in Engineering.Beginning with a single spec home, John’s career exploded as one of the premier custom builders in the area, winning Best Interior Design award two years in a row at the Mecklenburg County Home Builders Homearama. While concentrating on custom residential homes, John is also licensed and experienced in Commercial construction. He spent seven years as a member of the City of Concord Planning and Zoning Commission and served three years as Vice-Chairman.
