Bob has been working in the construction of buildings for over 40
years. He has worked for various companies; first as a foreman in
Oregon, doing mostly commercial buildings. In 1989 Bob and his young
family moved to Eureka, Ca., where he worked for Ray Wolf
Construction, as a foreman, building custom homes on Northern
California's coast for 13 years. Later he worked 6 years for Pierson
Company, as a superintendent, constructing commercial metal buildings,
office buildings and a three story bay-front condo/commercial complex
overlooking Humboldt Bay.
Bob and his wife Colleen moved to Lewiston, California in
2008. He then founded RD Thompson construction, serving as a general
contractor for Trinity County and the Redding area. RD Thompson
construction has since built many customs homes throughout the area.
They've also done many remodels, ADA compliance work, and commercial
construction. Please view the project gallery for pictures of some of
the projects completed by RD Thompson Construction.
Bob and his wife Colleen currently live in Lewiston. They have
two beautiful grown daughters, who are both now married to military
pilots. Bob and Colleen are active in their local community and
church; The Outpost in Weaverville. Colleen works as the Director of
Care Ministries at Neighborhood Church of Redding. In his free time
Bob enjoys fly fishing and rafting with Colleen on the Trinity
river.?
