Scope Of Work
CWC was awarded the Southport Ferry Terminal Dock Replacement & Rip-Rap Project March 2021 by NCDOT with construction beginning mid April. This two part project consists of removal and replacement of the existing, hurricane damaged, dockage for mooring the two Fort Fisher – South Port Ferries, as well as reconstruction, extension, reinforcement and stabilization of the of the perimeter berm dredge containment providing protection for the landing basin against the adjacent Cape Fear River environment.
The earthwork/Rip-Rap berm construction and dockage demolition phase of the work is now complete with the remaining marine construction completing mid July 2021.
