Scope Of Work
The FTW296/297/298 Denali Village Family Housing Project was a design/build fast track phased turnover project located in the Glass Park area on Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Extensive site work was required to deal with permafrost and unsuitable soil issues to make the site suitable for a subdivision consisting of 200 Units of Junior and Senior Non Commissioned Officer Housing with all associated infrastructure. Five different housing types in 4-plex configurations are situated on curvilinear streets with direct buried water, sewer, electrical and glycol circulation systems. The site was fully landscaped with open play/recreation areas and walking/biking trails. The Project was solicited and procured by means of a competitive 1-step best value process. The Project was completed 6 months ahead of schedule. The Project was designed to achieve a SPiRiT Gold rating.
