Scope Of Work
Howell completed an 11,000 SF tenant improvement project for the Akerman Law Firm. The project involved reconfiguring the space to provide private offices for 50 lawyers and support staff as well as a new entry and conference room area and a stylish breakroom. In the IT room, redundant 24/7 cooling was provided to protect sensitive equipment. Located at 1900 16th Street, the project was completed using exclusively union trade resources. The project team carefully planned and scheduled all construction activities to ensure the tenants above and below the construction area could remain operational throughout construction. Additional coordination was undertaken with the landlord for access and to accommodate peak tenant traffic flow.
