Scope Of Work
KCI provided site/civil engineering, landscape architecture, forestry, topographic and boundary surveying, and construction administration services for the construction of a new 228,000-square-foot high school building to house the George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology, the county’s premier art-centric magnet school.
Our team assisted Grimm + Parker in developing a set of phased construction documents for a modernization to provide the faculty and students with an updated facility that meets County and State academic requirements as well as current building codes. KCI completed on-site research and prepared an extensive existing conditions document to provide the client with a recommendation regarding all site-related items including paving, pedestrian and vehicular traffic patterns, utilities, stormwater management and landscaping.
