Scope Of Work
KCI was contracted by George Washington University to provide and install approximately 1,200-feet of six-way conduit duck bank and set three new communication vaults between 22nd Street and 19th Street on F Street in Washington, DC. KCI has provided telecommunication support services for the university since 1997. Work has been completed on the Washington, D.C., Mount Vernon and Ashburn campuses and has involved infrastructure inventory, room buildouts as well as inside and outside plant cabling and structure.
Services for this task included engineering, design, permitting, excavation, installation of conduit, encasement, backfill and restoration. The project included installation of copper and fiber optic cable plant, as-built and project closeout documentation.
