Scope Of Work
Welty assisted Timken as they consolidated their facilities to create one world-class structure that would support global collaboration. With a variety of meeting and conference spaces, the building can accommodate up to 70 percent of Timken’s workforce as they engage in team project design and development. The building strategically employs systems furnishings, open plan concepts, light harvesting, energy star environmental systems, and an imaginative use of materials to align with the aesthetic sensibilities of the next generation of industry innovators. The target was to obtain LEED Silver Certification on this project, however the project was awarded LEED Gold Certification without any additional cost for the owner.
