In 1940, Alvin Coleman founded Alvin J. Coleman & Son Inc., laying a strong foundation for a diversified general contracting firm. We are distinguished by integrity, quality, teamwork and years of hands-on building experience. Since its founding, Alvin J. Coleman & Son Inc has experienced sustained and steady growth. Today’s annual construction volume reaches over $30 Million, a workforce of over 225 employees, and well over 250 construction vehicles. Incorporated in 1962, the business conglomerate that is Alvin J. Coleman & Son, Inc is family-owned and operated construction company throughout Maine and New Hampshire, has it’s own aggregate and sand production, mass equipment and a team of highly-skilled employees.
