Scope Of Work
Construction activities include demolition of existing DAF Building #2, modifications to existing anaerobic digestion facilities construction of new GBT (Gravity Belt Thickener) facility, primary digester, secondary digester, digested sludge holding tank site utilities.
The GBT facility will have a split faced CMU building with preformed prefinished metal roofing sheet metal provided installed by CECO Building Systems.
The second project converted the existing plant to an Integrated Fixed-film Activated Sludge (IFAS) system while maintaining operation of the existing plant. Scope items include; Replace plant influent flow meters, Construct new primary clarifier, Construct new primary clarifier waste pump station, replacement of existing primary clarifiers effluent launders, modification of the primary distribution box, convert biological treatment process to Integrated Fixed-film, Activated Sludge (IFAS) system, replace RAS WAS pumps for 3 pump stations, replace process air blower system, modify aeration distribution system, construct methanol polymer facility, upgrade potable non-potable water distribution system, replace NPW pumps, electrical, instrumentation, site improvements.
