Scope Of Work
Originally built in 1909 by architect Irving Gill, Rudolph Sletten was entrusted with responsibility to add to historic complex state---art science facilities new first-class athletic fields atop underground parking. expansion allows college preparatory school to meet its growing needs.
$20 million, multiphase began with new McCain Aquatics Center. center houses coach offices, changing facilities 25 yard x 30 yard Buddy & Barbara Murfey Memorial Pool.
Rudolph Sletten self-performed structural concrete , concrete, rough carpentry for new Science Center a 90,000-square-foot underground parking garage.
Extraordinary rains caused Rudolph Sletten to maintain an aggressive recovery order to meet school’s opening .
Tucker Sadler Architects, lead designer, designed Science Center to match original 1910 architecture Irving Gill. includes teaching labs for biology, physics, chemistry, as well as a 140-seat presentation hall where students can view ongoing experiments.
