Scope Of Work
Customer needed to increase the airflow for an existing AHU. Capital Energy Equipment reviewed the existing fan curve, and determined maximum airflow the fan could develop. Next step was to confirm the existing fan wheel could handle the new RPM and the fan could support the new larger motor. The v-belts, bushings, motor, sheaves, and isolators were replaced. During the fan disassembly, we found that the shaft was scored and had a new shaft fabricated overnight in order to meet the completion schedule.
