Miron Construction Co., Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Andre Lorenzen to Vice President of Milwaukee Operations. In his new role, Lorenzen will manage Miron’s Milwaukee office and lead Miron’s efforts across all markets throughout the Greater Milwaukee area.

Prior to his promotion, Lorenzen served as a project executive for Miron. He has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, has been instrumental in several key Milwaukee projects and has strong local experience with healthcare, educational, senior living, and mixed-use developments.

Lorenzen is a graduate of UW-Platteville with a B.S. in Industrial Technology with an emphasis on Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional, a Waste Cap of Wisconsin Accredited Professional, ASHE Healthcare ConstructionCertified and a member of ASHE (American Society for Healthcare Engineering).

David G. Voss, Jr. began his career with Miron in 1973, first as a laborer and later as an estimator. In 1979, he became one of the principal owners of the company, along with Patrick Voss and Greg Kippenhan. As president & CEO of Miron, Dave has in-depth involvement in the daily operations of the company and participates in all aspects of corporate . He closely monitors activities associated with all of Miron’s conceptual and hard bid estimating processes. Dave is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Stout and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Building  . David’s community involvement is legendary. He gives generously of his time and talent to St. Mary Parish in Menasha and St. Mary Central High School in Neenah. He is also a past president of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Wisconsin. 

 

Dean J. Basten is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, including policies and procedures. His main focus is strategic planning and budgeting; he is also responsible for cash management, financial reporting, and tax planning for the company.

Outside of his position with Miron, Dean is secretary for the corporate board of the YMCA of the Fox Cities, vice-chair of Riverview Gardens, vice president of the Northeastern Wisconsin Chapter of Construction Financial Management Association, Treasurer for North Shore Golf Club, and also serves on the board of Construction Business Group and the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay Chancellor’s Council of Trustees. Dean volunteers as a Big Brother, supports the United Way and is a member of both the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Financial Executives International.

Few team members at Miron have the intimate knowledge of the multiple departments within the company as Tim does. He began his career with Miron in 1984, working in the yard and shop. He later worked in the estimating department and in the field as a laborer. With experience in engineering and as an office/field engineer, he went on to become a project manager and later, director of project . He was named chief operating officer in 2005.

In this role, Tim is active in the daily  of the company and participates in all aspects of corporate operations, providing  expertise and guidance.

Tim graduated from Michigan Technological University, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering / Option: , and is a LEED AP BD+C. As an active member of the community, he supports the Boys & Girls Club of the Fox Valley (board member) and is involved in youth sports programs with the local YMCA. Tim is also active in the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Wisconsin.

As executive vice president of industrial operations, Dan Voss leads Miron’s industrial division in all aspects of business development and preconstruction activities. Voss takes initiative for developing new business opportunities and maintaining key accounts while directing the development of strategic alliances with clients, business partners and industry-specific associations. He also manages pre-construction activities subject to the design, planning, budgeting and scheduling of projects.

Dan joined the Miron team in 2005, beginning his career as a field engineer assisting the management team on various projects. He then transitioned to Miron’s business development team as vice president, business development (northern region), coordinating all business development efforts for Miron’s Wausau office, before transitioning to his current role.

Dan is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He is also a LEED AP BD+C.

David Voss III serves as the executive vice president, field operations. In this role, he is responsible for comprehensive project planning, including overall understanding and requirements, schedules, and job costing. He is a field liaison for superintendents and foremen and is involved in project issue resolution and union interaction.

David was previously a project executive at Miron, directly supervising and guiding a team of project managers. He provided tactical support for construction/building issues, monitored schedules, and carefully reviewed financials related to projects.

David is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management. He is also a LEED AP BD+C.
