Scope Of Work
Telemundo, the Spanish-language TV giant, had a vision to consolidate offices, studios and production facilities across the region - bringing the company under one giant roof.
At 476,000 sq ft – the size of seven soccer fields – the state-of-the-art global headquarters in Miami, Florida is fit for a media company of the future. Designed to foster better communications and collaboration between departments and teams, the campus has been created to facilitate unlimited configuration, making Telemundo Center fit for purpose now and in the future.
Mace originally started working on the campus’ early designs before being appointed to project manage the entire build and fit out. The project team added value by improving processes and developing projects controls, monitoring costs and managing risks to the programme.
Strong partnerships built on trust and cooperation were cultivated by the Mace team with the client and supply chain throughout the lifecycle of the project. Drawing on these relationships for knowledge share and problem solving, the team completed the project ahead of schedule, ready for Telemundo to begin broadcasting over 500 hours of live football for the 2018 World Cup.
