Scope Of Work

Principals at J. F. Scott Construction Company are concluding project management services on the Alfond Center for Care in Augusta, Maine. This new regional hospital is a consolidation of MaineGeneral’s inpatient services currently provided at their current campuses in Augusta and Waterville. Outpatient services are also being relocated from the current Augusta campus to the Alfond campus in north Augusta. Overall project costs are $312 Million for the 640,000 sf facility. The new hospital saw its first patients Nov. 9, 2013.
