Scope Of Work
Goldman Sachs Tower is currently tallest New Jersey. 781 ft high complex has 42-stories 1.5 million sq ft space. It sits immediately on waterfront overlooking Hudson River lower Manhattan. It is blue-glass star Jersey City boom residential high rise . is under -NC Version 2.0 US Council.
Binsky & Snyder was contracted to provide cooling technology plants for this landmark . consisted 7 massive chillers which distribute chilled water throughout utilizing 720’ tall 20” risers. Working in parallel to chillers are 10 massive cooling towers located at top which distribute condenser water down 500’ tall 30” risers to various mechanical rooms throughout .
distribution was accomplished with several large pump skids located three main mechanical rooms. Each skid was fabricated off- was brought into sections as large as 70,000 lbs 40’ long. technology plant consists 180 remotely located secondary chilled water AC units throughout 40 floors. total, system provides 7500 tons cooling capacity with 400 tons backup.
