Scope Of Work
he Harwood Arena is a newly renovated sports complex at Kean University New Jersey. Arena features a basketball court, indoor track, swimming pools, exercise locker rooms. bleacher seating for Arena allows for 3,200 Cougar fans.
Binsky & Snyder became involved early in , assisting architect during initial planning efforts. was executed during school year, so careful planning was necessary to address students ongoing nearby facilities classroom activities.
major component Binsky's scope was installation ninety 300 ft deep geothermal wells. The wells were utilized for the heating cooling medium required for 58 heat pumps throughout .
Binsky installed two 65 ton gas-driven roof mounted chillers in support of aquatic facilities.
Binsky was proud to be a part this initiative for Kean University, Cougars were able to begin their new season in an impressive state---art sports complex.
