Scope Of Work

Whiting-Turner served as the program manager for The Mall at Bay Plaza, the first enclosed fashion mall in New
York City in almost 40 years. Construction was on a tight site adjacent to 1-95 and the Hutchison River Parkway
in the heart of the Cooperative City Development. The 525,000 SF retail fashion mall includes:
Three-story, multi-tenant retail building
40,000 SF health club
» 166,000 SF JCPenney anchor store
» 160,000 SF Macy's anchor store
» Two parking structures with 2,156 parking spaces
» Single-story sky ramp
» Two separate retail buildings creating an open-air village
