Scope Of Work

The Fairfax at Belvoir Woods is a senior living community serving retired military officers and their spouses in Northern VA. This beautiful 60 acre community is comprised of 32 buildings of various size and function.  There are individual houses, large multi-unit buildings, administration buildings, a community center, gymnasium, cafeteria, and a maintenance building.  When Sunrise contacted us to paint the community it was apparent the existing paint was approaching the end of it’s life.  Heavy staining, mildew, and chalking were all prevalent and the coating failure was beginning to affect the underlying substrate.  To ensure a beautiful long lasting result Sunrise selected a self cleaning hydrophobic coating system from STO.  This product is challenging to apply but when applied correctly resists dirt, staining, and color degradation, providing a beautiful finish lasting up to 20 years.  The scope was all exterior walls, trim, soffits, doors, and exterior metals. The project took us 8 weeks to complete.
