Venter Spooner Inc. is a Des Moines based general contracting firm that offers building construction, construction management and design build services for a wide variety of clients throughout Iowa and other Midwestern locations. Venter Spooner is a member of the Associated General Contractors of America and Master Builders of Iowa.

Our company currently employs a dedicated staff of project managers, estimators, and office personnel as well as skilled trade professionals. We utilize the skills of our valued staff at every phase of the construction process. Estimators, project managers, office support staff and skilled trade professionals all have a unique role in the successful completion of every project.

Venter Spooner has completed more than 1,000 projects since the company’s beginnning in 1994, with the value of this completed work totaling more than 325 million dollars. Our projects have included office warehouse facilities, retail shops and shopping centers, medical office buildings, apartments, dormitories, retirement homes, assisted living centers, banks, churches, historic renovations, schools and a host of other public and private facilities.
