Scope Of Work
This was an 110,000 sqft facility on a 5 acre site in the city of industry that was originally completed in 2000 as a turn key project. This building was constructed with a pre-engineered steel structure with custom sheet metal exterior walls and included a 5000 sqft two story office, an underground tunnel with load out openings in the tipping floor, 14 ft high steel plate push walls, truck scales, conveyor equipment pits and other features.
Our latest project there at GCR included the construction of concrete foundations for a major recycling machinery installation, a 2000 amp electrical service upgrade, additional 14 ft high steel push walls, an added 20 ft high overhead door and other structural and fire protection improvements.
