Scope Of Work
The Goodyear Fire Station No. 181 project, built for the Goodyear Fire Department, included the new construction of a 16,126- square-foot fire station on a 4.6-acre site in Goodyear, AZ. The fire station includes three apparatus bays, nine dormitories, firefighter offices, captain’s offices, a day room, a dining room, fitness center, lobby, and a decontamination corridor. The fire station was constructed on a slab-on-grade foundation with a concrete masonry unit structural frame. The exterior is an insulation finishing system with concrete masonry unit and veneer. A TPO membrane and standing seam roof completed the construction. This prototype fire station now provides a state-of-the-art facility to serve first responders and the surrounding community.
