Scope Of Work
The Sugar House skyline has been revitalized the completion of a new senior living community complex. In 2014, Western States Lodging, LLC, announced its newest project, Legacy Village of Sugar House. Located minutes from downtown Salt Lake City, Legacy Village of Sugar House is a state-of-the-art senior living community that features retail shops, restaurant-style dining, and onsite medical care.
The project is a 10-level concrete structure constructed with two-way post-tensioned slabs and contains two components: parking and senior housing. The parking decks consist of four levels with more than 500 parking spaces with the ground level featuring approximately 14,000 square feet of retail space and 6,000 square feet for office and equipment space.
The 6-level senior housing component features several amenities including the following:
• 286 luxury residential units
• Dining
• Meeting rooms
• Activity rooms
• Offices
• Theater
• Other support facilities
The project is adjacent to a popular pedestrian and bicycle corridor that provides access to shops, restaurants, and parks. It is also two blocks from the S-Line Streetcar.
