Scope Of Work
In 1958, the Ritz Bowling Alley opened in Salt Lake City and was known for its neon bowling pin sign that was visible to motorists on State Street and Interstate 80. The bowling alley has since been demolished after its owners declared bankruptcy. All that remains today is the neon bowling sign that is now a signature feature of the new Ritz Classic Apartment Homes.
Located near the Utah Transit Authority’s S-Line Trolley, the Ritz Classic Residences is a five-story, mixed-use residential complex. The complex has 287 apartment units with amenities including a fitness and yoga room, sports lounge, swimming pool, spa, outdoor kitchen area and fire pit. The units are a mix of studio, one and two-bedroom apartments. The first level of the apartment building will be a parking garage with more than 300 parking stalls for residents and guests.
The exterior of the building includes a brick veneer along the first two floors and stucco accents on the corners. The interior residential units open to two central courtyards above the parking garage. Each unit will be marked with a signature bowling pin and apartment number.
