Overview
MT2 was contracted by the Central Jersey Rifle and Pistol Club to provide regular range maintenance at their indoor operating range.
MT2 Services
MT2 services included the installation of a dust containment system to minimize contamination of other portions of the range, extraction of the Grantex rubber bullet trap materials; separation of bullets/bullet fragments from the Grantex material; replacement of Grantex material to trap; HEPA vacuuming of trap and other exposed portions of the range; and minor range maintenance including tightening and/or replacing of loose or missing nuts and bolts on the bullet trap; adding additional new Grantex rubber media as necessary to rebuild the back stop; and grooming the slope to re-establish correct pitch/ angle of back stop. MT2 utilized a TrapVac system in order separate lead from the Grantex rubber bullet trap material for lead reclamation and recycling and to reuse the rubber.
