Description | Cruz Construction recently purchased a HD70 drill to be used on a powerhouse retrofit project for the UAF in Fairbanks, AK. Project was latent with tight work areas, underground interferences and ground disruption concerns. |
APE Designed a casing driver that was used to lock into the top of each pile, inside the casing driver a connection was built to connect a wide variety of drill tooling which can clear the pile as it is advanced. | |
Cruz used the HD system to install 24″ and 18′ casing from depths of 10′ to 25′, all while mitigating job site concerns and hazards. |
