Scope Of Work
The project consisted of a redevelopment of the historic Westerner building built in 1961. The existing 55,024 sq.ft. four-story building underwent a renovation for offices, ground floor commercial, and 3,000 square feet of retail. A new 38,421 sq.ft. six-story addition was added (20 E. Broadway) to the east side of the existing building for 50 housing units and support facilities for low-income seniors and veterans. (Source: downtowntucson.org)
Our scope of work was to Provide and install seven stories of scaffolding, including several radius walls per our structural engineer’s design. We anchored into the old facility which was made of 3 layers of red brick using two-feet long tie-backs that were custom-made and clamped back into our scaffolding.
