Alan J. Solow's Bio
Alan Solow assumed the role of Weston President and Chief Executive Officer in September 2014, bringing with him more than three decades of experience with complex organizations in the engineering, construction and environmental remediation industries. As part of the Weston team from 1985-2009, Alan held multiple leadership positions including Vice President of DOE Programs, Senior Vice President of the Federal Programs Division and Chief Operations Officer. Just prior to returning to the company in 2014, he served two years as Chief Executive Officer of Cabrera Services, Inc., a leader in characterization and environmental remediation of radiological contamination. He was also a Senior Vice President of Shaw Environmental and Infrastructure, responsible for managing Federal Environmental Operations. Alan is a Certified Health Physicist, accredited by the American Board of Health Physics, and also serves as a Director on the Board of Weston’s parent company, Weston Solutions Holdings, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics/Physical Science and a Master of Science in Health Physics from Colorado State University.
Lawrence J. Bove, P.E.'s Bio
Larry Bove was named Weston’s Chief Operating Officer in October 2014. With the company for more than 30 years, he brings a depth of solid experience in environmental management, compliance, and regulatory affairs. Since joining Weston in 1983 as a Project Engineer, Larry has served as project executive on major construction and remediation projects; principle for myriad merger and acquisition due diligence efforts; and chief arbitrator in disputes concerning environmental liability. During his tenure, he has moved through the ranks to assume key leadership positions including Client Services Manager and Vice President of the Mid Atlantic Profit Center. As Senior Vice President of the Mid Atlantic Division from 2005-2013, Larry managed a $50-80M operation focused on environmental investigations and remediation for government and commercial clients. Just prior to assuming his current role as Chief Operating Officer, he was Senior Vice President of the East Division, responsible for approximately $100M in environmental services operations spanning the area from Maine to Virginia. Larry is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Pennsylvania. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Pat Taylor-Woodyard's Bio
Pat Taylor-Woodyard joined Weston in January, 2017 bringing with her nearly four decades of commercial/public and federal sales management, operations management, business development, project/program management, technology leadership, and people management. Prior to joining Weston, she spent 34 years with CH2M Hill in various leadership roles, most recently as Senior Vice President, Global Director-Industrial and Public Sales, responsible for successfully driving account and sales growth in the Chemical/Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing-Mining-Metals-Transportation, and Public sector business areas. At Weston, Pat is responsible for the strategic development of the company’s Federal and Industrial, State and Local client sectors; leading, managing and implementing the client development, market identification and pursuit strategies. Pat holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Development from The Ohio State University.
Vincent A. Laino's Bio
Vince Laino is a corporate financial executive with 35 years of experience in the environmental engineering, consulting & construction industry and has served as Weston’s Chief Financial Officer since March 2001. Since joining the company in 1988, Vince has been executing financial initiatives to create and maintain Weston’s leadership and competitive advantage. His previous roles include Manager Financial Systems, Manager Financial Operations & Analysis and Chief Information Officer. That experience, combined with his background in project management, auditing, and systems analysis at E.I. DuPont de Nemours (1981 to 1988), has laid the foundation for his work as CFO providing strategic leadership for the information and financial services functions of Weston. Vince serves as a Director on the Board of Weston’s parent company, Weston Solutions Holdings, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting and Computer Systems Management and a Master of Business Administration, Financial Management from Drexel University.

Geoff Compeau, Ph.D.'s Bio
Geoff Compeau joined Weston in September 2014, bringing with him nearly three decades of project, program, and operations management experience in the federal and commercial sectors. Prior to joining Weston, he spent the better part of the millennium with CB&I Federal Services (formerly Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure). As Vice President responsible for West Coast Federal Environmental Operations from 2009-2014, he oversaw major programs conducted for DoD and civilian agency clients with operating revenue of up to $90M annually. From 2000-2007, as Shaw’s Vice President, Federal Programs, he was responsible for leading the growth and execution of all commercial and federal projects in the Northwest. He was also selected to serve as National Program Manager/Sector Lead for FEMA response contracts valued at over $850M. In between stints with Shaw/CB&I, he worked for Geosyntec Consultants as a Principal and spent six years as a Principal with URS (Woodward/Clyde). Geoff is a published author, has served on DOE advisory boards and program development teams, and is the President of the Puget Sound Engineering and Science Scholarship Fund. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences and Chemistry, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry and Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers University.

Joseph E. Hockenberry's Bio
Joe Hockenberry has served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources since March 2013. He is a seasoned leader with more than 20 years of experience delivering strategic, practical Human Resources solutions. Having first joined Weston in 1993, Joe has progressed through the ranks into roles of increasing responsibility. During his tenure, he has managed staffing for EPA support of the Hurricane Katrina response; strategies for staffing and employee relations issues associated with the rebuild of post-war Iraq; and all aspects of new 401K Plan implementation following Weston’s capital restructure and transition into an employee owned company. Most recently as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Joe was key in leading Weston’s organization realignment, creating new roles aligned with individual strengths and restructuring the company’s compensation and benefits programs to support the new corporate strategy. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Widener University.
Kara Fields's Bio
Kara Fields leads the Engineering, Science & Technology group encompassing all of Weston’s engineers, scientists and other technical staff. She joined Weston in 2001 as a Project Manager and later served five years as an Operations Manager. In 2013 she was named South Central Profit Center Manager responsible for P&L for the $30M profit center, 175 staff and a number of the company’s commercial/industrial and oil & gas clients. Kara has over 15 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry and a technical background that includes engineering and regulatory support on a wide variety of projects including site investigation, remediation planning, remediation, M&A due diligence, regulatory compliance and risk management. Prior to Weston, she served as an Assistant Engineer with URS Corporation. Kara holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Matthew Beatty's Bio
Matt Beatty has more than three decades of experience in operations management, technology commercialization, quality assurance, and environmental programs in both the federal and private sectors. He joined Weston in 1991 and served as a Vice President, Operations Manager for 13 years, Corporate Quality Manager for 3 years where he led ISO 9000 certification and TQM program implementation before assuming his current role leading the company’s Federal Sales and Operations in the eastern U.S. Throughout his Weston tenure, he has procured and executed numerous large complex projects; led the operations of multi-disciplined organizations performing myriad environmental and construction services. Matt’s prior experience includes stints with Rollins Environmental Services and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, Philadelphia District where he served as a C.O.R. in the Army’s Superfund Remedial Program. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University.

Sally Jones's Bio
Sally Jones currently leads Weston’s State & Local Government and Commercial & Industrial business in the eastern U.S. In her nearly three decades of service with the company, she has been a P&L leader in various geographies and led growth initiatives to broaden Weston’s horizons with a diversified market approach, including integrating and aligning staff around the company’s vision for the future. As a consultant, she supports her clients with due diligence, M&A, compliance, and regulatory support. She also provides strategic and technical support to her clients on large, complex remediation projects driven by both EPA and state agencies. Prior to joining Weston, Sally was an Environmental Scientist/Geologist at Melham Associates. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Dickinson College, a Master of Geology from California State University-Long Beach and a Masters of Business Administration from Rutgers University.

Stephen Mitchell, P.G.'s Bio
Steve Mitchell is responsible for Weston’s commercial, industrial, and state & local government business in the western U.S. He joined the company in 1991 as a Senior Project Manager, leading teams performing myriad services ranging from soil and groundwater remediation to large plant decommissioning projects for EPA, DOD, power utility, refinery, state and municipal clients. After 15 successful years in that role, he spent two years as an Operations Manager in Austin, TX before being named Vice President, Regional Manager responsible for strategic planning, business development, account management, project direction, risk management, and P&L for offices in Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona. From 2011-2014, he served as Senior Vice President, Division Manager leading planning, business development, account management, and P&L for offices in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and Alaska. Prior to joining Weston, he was a Project Hydrogeoligist for R.E. Wright Associates, Inc. Steve is a certified Professional Geoscientist in Pennsylvania, Texas and Tennessee, and a Corrective Action Project Manager with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geoscience from Penn State University and a Master of Science in Environmental Science/Geology from the University of Houston.

Steven F. Blarr's Bio
Steve Blarr was appointed General Counsel for Weston in October 2018. As part of our team for over 25 years, he has served in myriad leadership capacities including project, sales, and operations management. Steve leads internal and external counsel on structuring, negotiating, closing, and developing complex transactions for Weston involving purchase and/or sale of assets, alternative energy, master developer, insurance policies, joint ventures, and commercial leases. In addition to designing and implementing Weston’s company-wide Enterprise Risk Management program, Steve has a wide-range of experience in environmental engineering, design, construction, and consulting. He is a licensed Attorney in the State of Colorado; a registered Professional Engineer in the State of New Jersey; and holds a Juris Doctorate in Real Estate, International Law, and Business from Denver University Sturm College of Law; and a Master’s degree in Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Bioenvironmental Engineering from Rutgers University.
