Scope Of Work
Kennedy Jordan Manor is designed to offer affordable, senior housing, to residents of the South side of Chicago.
The UJAMAA team was selected by KJM, Inc. to provide design build construction services for their new four story 70 unit senior housing building.
The pre-cast concrete constructed building consists of eight studio and 62 one-bedroom, units featuring generous window lines, Energy Star appliances, sustainable white TPO roof and green roof.
UJAMAA also completed the associated site work, site infrastructure, landscaping, natural vegetative park and a grass pave parking area to the buildings west.
The construction professionals from UJAMAA self-performed the carpentry, drywall and general labor trades on this 62,375 sf affordable, multi-family housing assignment.
