Greg has spent 40 years climbing the ranks of Murphy Elevator, with experience in every facet of the organization. After serving as Executive Vice President and Vice President, Greg became President of Murphy Elevator in 1992. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Louisville and is a licensed QEI Inspector and contractor for KY and IN.

Greg currently serves on the Board of Directors and is Secretary of the Elevator Contractors of America (ECA). ECA is a multi-employer bargaining group representing management. Greg is currently a member of the Kentucky Elevator Advisory Committee.

Greg also served on the NAEC board and served as President during 2011 – 2012.

R.H. boasts over three decades of experience in the elevator industry. R.H. began as a sales representative with Abell and then moved to Chicago with Dover as a sales associate. After briefly returning with Abell as a Branch Manager in Cincinnati, R.H. learned the elevator control Industry by working with Elevator Controls in Sacramento CA.

R.H. then returned to the Louisville area with Irvin and also as Branch Manager of Schindler. He then came to Murphy Elevator in 1999 as a Sales Representative and quickly rose to the level of Vice President.

R.H. is an elevator inspector certified by BOMA and ICBO, a licensed QEI Inspector, and is a Certified Hospital Contractor by KY Society of Hospital Engineers.

Bill brings nearly four decades of industry experience to Murphy Elevator. He began working on elevators at Belknap Bluegrass and Hardware in 1974. When Belknap’s closed he moved to Abell as a mechanic and then to Irvin as a superintendent. He left Irvin to begin his own Electrical Contracting business. Bill wanted to return to the elevator industry and joined Murphy in 1999 as a mechanic and became New Installation Manager in 2006. Bill is a licensed mechanic in IN and KY.

Rich brings 19 years experience in the elevator trade to The Murphy Elevator Company. He spent 11 years on active duty in the United States Navy and followed that with 15 years of Reserve Duty also in the Navy where he retired with a total of 26 years in 2013. Rich began his Elevator career with a small independent company, Elevator Technical Services, here in Louisville before moving to Otis’ construction department. He joined Murphy in 2005 in our construction department before moving to service in 2006. Rich is a licensed elevator mechanic in KY and IN.

Originally from the Northeast, I came to Indiana after serving in the US Navy, where I served aboard an aircraft carrier - the USS Saratoga – as an electrician with cargo/weapons elevator training. I have been in Industrial Service Sales for more than 25 years, including 15+ years in the elevator industry. With me, what you see is what you get.
