Scope Of Work
Sierra Vista Hospital is a full service behavioral health facility and a center of support for patients and their families. The hospital has provided care in the area for more than 25 years. In order to keep up with the increasing needs of the community, Sierra Vista Hospital planned an addition of 50 new beds to their existing 120 bed facility.
This project was a great learning opportunity for many of the project team. They walked away with the knowledge and understanding of the patient safety requirements for a behavioral health and psychiatric hospital.
The construction of the new 2-story, 21,000 sq. ft. structure included:
Semi-private patient rooms
A nurses’ station and staff offices
A day room
A quiet room
