Scope Of Work
This project was for a complete roof replacement of 56,000 square foot Atlas Spaceflight Operations Center. The roof system and decking had deteriorated due to severe hurricane damage and Pacific Tech Construction performed complete tear-off of the roof system and decking, installed new support beams and metal decking and installed a new Cold Process Built-Up roofing system. This project was especially challenging due to high security, the frequency of inclement weather and the high degree of occupant coordination that had to take place. This highly successful project was featured in an article in Professional Roofing Magazine entitled “Out of this World: Pacific Tech Construction Replaces the Roof System at Atlas Spaceflight Operations Center.”
