Scope Of Work
As one premier data center constructors Midwest, Granger was selected to build a new state---art data center for Wayne State University.
new , to be constructed a vacant lot adjacent to C&IT , will include approximately 6,000 s.f. technology equipment 4,000 s.f. support space.
includes a new substation to feel data center, along with relocation existing utilities.
Tier IV data center will include following:
A/B power distribution from utility to to IT racks
Electrical infrastructure to grow up to 1500kW IT capacity
(4) 3000A underground duct bank feeders
(2) 3000A ATS
(6) 3000A Switchgear
(2) 500kW PDU’s, expandable to (6) total
(2) 500kVA UPS with 3-minute VRLA Batteries, expandable up to (8) systems total
800A A/B Busway throughout data center to power IT racks
Overhead feeder circuits
Security measures include:
K8 rated anti-ram crash vehicle fence surrounding perimeter
Access card system to critical rooms
Security cameras throughout interior exterior
Interior exterior counter-terrorism measures
