Scope Of Work
Gilbane provided construction management services for the new state-of-the-art student health and wellness center, located within the west portion of the South Village on the main campus of Florida Gulf Coast University. The two-story building featured a double gymnasium, group fitness room, strength and fitness room, cardio deck, observation concourse, administrative suite, exterior event plaza and exterior fitness area. The approximately 46,000 SF facility also featured academic classrooms for the human performance program. Also included in the project scope of work was site work and site utilities. This project achieved LEED Silver certification.
