Scope Of Work
As part of FEMA related-work from Superstorm Sandy Recovery funds, PANYNJ awarded KCC with the restoration and upgrading of a vital area within Howland Hook Marine Terminal’s GCT NY footprint in Staten Island, NY. The project was complex, with the disposal of gypsum laden soil as per needed approval process. Multiple parties collaborated on the best means / method for the right outlet. This project revitalized an area of the operating terminal which was in near disrepair and had previously been uneven and unsafe for terminal operations with sinking block terrain.
