Scope Of Work

This sleek automotive dealership was to brought to life through Mowery’s in-house Design-Build. 

As a Design-Build project, Mowery’s in-house design team worked within the Jaguar Land Rover branding standards to bring this project to life. There were a few unique and required design features that the design team needed to incorporate. For example, Jaguar-Land Rover’s style guide requires a deep chamfer head and jamb detail at the showroom storefront windows, which are required to appear frameless, even at the perimeter.

To execute this aesthetic, the team designed a double wall system with recessed window attachment points. At the floor, foam was used to create a slab void for the window frame which was then grouted after final positioning. At the window head, a concealed tube steel girt provides support, with window attachment angles for fine field adjustment and for fit inside the wall’s narrow chamfer. A unique window system was also required to complete this aesthetic.

The frameless glazed curtainwall system uses recessed one-piece channels at the perimeter, where a lift-and-drop glass installation method is used, and vertical glass fins provide support where glass panels meet.
