Dalton Construction, Inc. is an established highly skilled general contracting firm specializing in quality construction of custom residential, commercial and site excavation.  With over 33 years of experience in the construction of complex projects to typical remodeling makes us uniquely qualified to manage your project in the mountains of Western North Carolina.

General contractor, Terry Dalton, was born and raised in Franklin and has been involved in the construction trade for over 40 years.  It was his grandfather who first introduced him to the carpentry trade and instilled a strong work ethic and a desire to produce the superior level of workmanship.   After a few years in retail construction sales, Terry decided that he wanted to use his knowledge and skills and to invest in his own company. 

Terry’s wife, Wendy, has always been involved in the company from the beginning but after leaving the retail business, she joined Dalton Construction, Inc. full time about 16 years ago.  With a background in the insurance industry, Wendy serves as office manager and assists clients in the design phase of projects.
