Scope Of Work
PCL Industrial Services, Inc. offers pressure vessel fabrication on everything from turnkey projects to repairs and alterations at an in-house design and fabrication facility. Since entering the market in the mid-90s, PCL has constructed more than one thousand pressure vessels — the majority for repeat clients.
PCL operates a code-compliant, 25,000-square-foot fabrication facility in Bakersfield, California. A comprehensive internal quality control and testing program confirms the team’s ability to deliver fabrication that not only exceeds code, but also client expectations for workmanship and value.
To execute the work, PCL maintains a staff of welders who are qualified in mild steel, stainless steel, and exotic alloys. PCL also employs internal quality specialists to manage programs with third-party suppliers of non-destructive examination services.
All pressure vessels meet American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) codes with U and S certifications, and with National Board of Pressure Vessels and Boilers R certification. The quality programs are in full compliance with all ASME Section 1 and Section VIII Division 1, ASME Power Piping, and American Petroleum Institute.
